Tajamul Islam, Dept. of English has been elected as President of Maulana Azad National Urdu University Student Union today.
Hyderabad: Tajamul Islam, Dept. of English has been elected as President of Maulana Azad National Urdu University Student Union today.
According to Prof. H. Khatija Begum, Chief Returning Officer, he will be the 5th president of the University’s student body. MANUU is a University with all India Jurisdiction. Arshad Alam (Business Management), Mohammad Ammar Azam, (Education & Training) and Shahid Jamal (Business Management) were declared elected for the posts of Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer respectively.
Muhammed Ali K., Dept. of English is elected unopposed for the post of Joint Secretary. Mohd. Firoz was declared elected as executive member (Polytechnic). Besides the headquarters, polling was also held today at other campuses of University at Bangaluru, Lucknow, Bhopal, Srinagar, Darbhanga, Aurangabad, Asansol, Sambhal, Nuh and Bidar.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz and Registrar Dr. Mohammad Shakeel Ahmad congratulated the newly elected office bearers and declared tomorrow as Holiday for the University.
