DLF Gardencity in association with Shri Ram Global School, Greenwood City, Gurgaon celebrated Children’s Day. The event was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91 in Gurgaon.

DLF Gardencity in association with Shri Ram Global School, Greenwood City, Gurgaon celebrated Children’s Day. The event was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91 in Gurgaon.

Children of all age groups turned up in large numbers along with their guardians to participate in the program.It was a day filled with fun and frolic for the children as they enjoyed the various activities organized by Shri Ram Global School. These were woven around the seven core values of the school namely Creativity, Curiosity, Confidence, Critical Thinking, Compassion, Collaboration and Commitment.

The children participated enthusiastically in key chain making, block printing on a hanky, slogan writing, drawing, quiz grid wherein they got an opportunity to show their creativity as well as sharpness. Some of these competitions brought forward beautiful pieces of artwork owing to the brilliant conceptualization and execution by the participants.

Apart from this, the kids were also seen trying their hands at the potter’s wheel to create figurines of different shapes and sizes.

The proceedings concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and children taking back heaps of fond memories of an idyllic morning.

Riya Mehta, a child from DLF Gardencity said,” I thoroughly enjoyed myself and loved participating in the various activities especially the potter’s wheel. It was so much fun to have celebrated Children’s Day with my friends and family.”

Col. Tejbir Singh, AVP (Township), DLF said, “We are delighted that the event received an overwhelming response from DLF Gardencity residents. The children had a gala time participating in the various competitions and their brightly lit faces reflected their joy and happiness. Children are the future of our country and we should focus on their all-round development and well-being.”
