53 BASE students qualify in KVPY Aptitude test

Bangalore: Once again the students of BASE (www.base-edu.in) bring outstanding results in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination, a Government of India initiative to encourage students to take up research careers in Pure Sciences. 53 students from BASE have qualified in the stage 1 examinations of KVPY program. This prestigious scholarship program is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore). Scholarships are provided (up to the pre-Ph.D. level) to the selected students.

Congratulating the students, Y K Jayaramappa, CEO, BASE said, “We are proud of our students who have aced the exams and would like to congratulate them for their sheer hard work and dedication put into the program.
