Maulana Azad National Urdu University being stake holder of Telangana Harita Haram project under Institutional Plantation Program has participated in the Massive Tree Plantation drive today in the Campus.
Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University being stake holder of Telangana Harita Haram project under Institutional Plantation Program has participated in the Massive Tree Plantation drive today in the Campus.
The Vice Chancellor of MANUU Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz along with the Registrar Dr. Shakeel Ahmed also planted saplings near Centre for Deccan Studies building. According to Dr.S.Maqbool Ahmed, Head Dept. of Botany & I/c Horticulture, teaching and non teaching staff members of the University along with students have also actively participated in this Tree festival program by planting saplings in the campus. Azeem said that to celebrate this tree festival program students from School of Sciences, students of Chaitanya Junior college Madeenaguda branch and officials from Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association along with Police officials from Madhapur Police station have also participated. Prof. Fazalur Rahman, Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Najamul Hasan, Dean School of Sciences, Prof. Abul Kalam, Head, Urdu Department, Mr. Taher Ali, Security Incharge, Staff of School of Sciences and others were also present.
