The pure pleasure of shopping for clothes enhances when you are surrounded by beautiful fabrics woven with care coupled with stunning embroidery and embellishments. The new store Singhanias at Banjara Hills is just the place to experience the feeling. The store boasts of exquisite fabrics that include Indian handlooms and imported weaves, designer lehengas, salwar kameez and sarees bedecked with impeccable embroidery including Lucknow chikankari, fine work of Zardozi and exquisite sequin work bordered with shimmer, silk and Chantilly laces.

The new wedding collection employs the core strength of fabric and best embellishments sourced from across the world. This coupled with interesting designs and the right pairing of fabrics, colour combinations, borders and embellishments make for a grand ensemble.

What has obviously worked for the collection is not just the fabrics, but also well placed embellishments, interesting cuts and a variety of modern shades. The expert craftsmanship is something that Sailesh Singhania, the owner of the store, monitors personally. He constantly inspires his team to create new designs following the latest trends. For example, a pleasant lemon yellow lehenga with sea green border paired with a sea green chiffon dupatta gets a touch of glamour with sequin border and blouse and detailing of the chikankari work placed well on the lehenga.

“We did not use regular wedding colours, we also refrained from using too much of shimmer just because it is a wedding collection. Instead we worked with pastel colours. Even traditional colours like greens and reds are not shocking; we have given a contemporary touch to the collection and tried to create a different look – stylish, rich and modern,” says Sailesh Singhania.

“In-house productions including custom-made sequins and handmade bangles, the store offers quality in addition to competitive prices on the designer collection,” he adds.
