Expressing strong displeasure over TDP's failure in countering TRS' attack and its stand on Telangana, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday asked party coordinators of all constituencies to carry out a vigorous campaign on the party's support to Telangana statehood and ally apprehensions among the people of the Telangana region.

Naidu held a gruelling meeting with the incharges of the Lok Sabha constituencies at the party head office, NTR Trust Bhavan on Wednesday. It discussed important issues including the TDP leaders parting ways and the people's losing faith in the party in wake of the 'confusing' statements made by party leaders of different regions on Telangana. Party sources said that the leaders informed Naidu that people were apprehensive about the party's sincerity on Telangana.

Responding to it, Naidu said that TDP's stand on Telangana was clear. The district party units should take up a campaign explaining the people that Telugu Desam is committed to the bifurcation of State and thwart away the attempts being made by anti-TDP parties to tarnish its image. He advised the leaders to organise door-to-door campaigns at villages and explain the people about the party's manifesto, especially, waiver of farmer loans and other promises made during Vastunna Meekosam Padayatra.

Predicting early elections to Lok Sabha, Naidu instructed the leaders to step up party activities in all constituencies and prepare to face the hustings at anytime.
