Telangana JAC has charged the government of resorting to threatening calls to scuttle the Chalo Assembly protest scheduled for June 14. Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, T JAC chairman Prof.Kodandaram stated that the agitation programme would be conducted despite the crackdown by the government.

He informed that steering committee members G Deviprasad and Pittala Ravinder have been getting threatening phone calls soon after the date for Chalo Assembly was announced. It is the clearly the handiwork of the government, Kodandaram alleged. Meanwhile, co-chairman Mallepalli Lakshmaiah poin ted out that T JAC would not remain a silent spectator. He informed that JAC members would approach court if government continued with its oppressive measures.
