KCR sees Keshav Rao as the key strategist for the party in national politics

kk with kcrHyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi is envisioning a bigger role in national politics in the future, if the words of its president K Chandrasekhar Rao are to be believed. According to the TRS supremo, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is in touch with senior leader K Keshav Rao on the formation of the Third or Federal Front.

K Keshav Rao took over as the secretary-general and chairman of the party's National Affairs Committee at a programme held at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, senior leaders Etela Rajender, Kadiyam Srihari were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed hope that his party would secure the maximum number of MP seats from the State when compared to other political parties in the next general elections. He said that Keshav Rao would be the key strategist for the party as far as national politics was concerned.

Chandrasekhar Rao informed that more leaders from other parties are likely to enter into TRS party fold in the coming days. Replying to a question about TRS' bandh call without keeping other pro-Telangana parties in the loop, K Chandrasekhar Rao reasoned that the decision was purely TRS's and hence there was no need to consult other parties.
