Navaratri festival is all about celebrating the victory of good over evil. It is also a time for a whole lot of fun, festivity and food. Mast Kalandar has been celebrating all the festivals from north India every year by serving new delicacies during all major Hindu festivals -- Lohri, Holi, Navaratri, Dasara and Diwali.
Mast Kalandar is offering ‘Utsav Maha Thali’ and ‘Vrat Maha Thali’, which are Navaratri specials that bring north Indian delicacies on to the plate
Navaratri festival is all about celebrating the victory of good over evil. It is also a time for a whole lot of fun, festivity and food. Mast Kalandar has been celebrating all the festivals from north India every year by serving new delicacies during all major Hindu festivals -- Lohri, Holi, Navaratri, Dasara and Diwali.
Bringing alive the cultural experience and traditions of Navaratri, Mast Kalandar has got new meals to relish on. The menu comprises of two thalis, namely the ‘Utsav Maha Thali’ and the ‘Vrat Maha Thali’, and are absolutely delectable with quality ingredients and spices to ensure that the taste is authentic and palatable.
The traditional ‘Vrat Maha Thali’ is for those who want to break their fast in the authentic style and flavour. The thali has been specially created to provide an elaborate meal while following the traditional restrictions and religious norms of the fast. It includes lip-smacking dishes like Aloo ki Subzee, Kuttu ki Pakori, Kuttu ki Poori, Paneer ki Subzee and Pindi Chole. The Nariyal ka Ladoo (Coconut sweet), Sabudana Papad, raita, salad and chutney are also on the thali.
The key ingredients used to prepare this thali are sendha namak and kuttu atta, makahana seeds.
For all those not fasting, ‘Utsav Maha Thali’ is on the menu, comprising twelve distinctive dishes from Uttar Pradesh and central India.
Shahi Kofta, Pindi Chole, Aloo Gobhi, Masala Poori, Paneer Ajwaini will make you crave for more. The dessert menu also has an array of delicacies like Nariyal ka Ladoo, Shaker Para, Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai.
Thalis will be served for lunch and dinner at all the four outlets of Mast Kalandar till the end of Navaratri.
