In the backdrop of a favourable situation for the BJP in north Telangana districts, particularly in the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency, the party believes that the leader may be apt for the constituency.

At present, around a dozen leaders aspire for a BJP MP ticket from Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency. BJP candidates have won the Nizamabad municipal chairman’s post as well as the Nizamabad urban MLA seat twice so far. In addition, BJP senior leader Ch. Vidyasagar Rao had served for a long duration as MLA from Metpally in the neighbouring Karimnagar district, which now comes under the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency limits.

A BJP leader said on the condition of anonymity that they would abide by the decision of the party high command if Mr Javadekar is fielded from Nizamabad.
Meanwhile, there is a sizeable number of Marathi speaking people spread across Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency. This would be an advantage for Mr Javadekar who he belongs to Pune.

When contacted, BJP district unit president Palle Ganga Reddy said that there was no proposal to field Mr Javadekar from the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency. “We are confident that the party high command will be field local leaders,” he said.

Meanwhile, BJP sources said that the tie-up with the Telugu Desam will be finalisedssss soon and it would boost the MP candidate from Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency.
