Leaders indulge in slanging match

Poll fever is reaching high pitch as leaders of all parties are indulging in spat. This phenomenon is most pronounced in Telangana where the TRS and Congress are accusing each other on various counts. The Telangana state, formed after long struggle and sacrifices, is now witnessing accusations, counter-accusations and weird threats of ‘exposing’ each other by the leaders if they come to power. On the contrary, the speeches of all parties in Seemandhra are focusing on the concept of ‘Congress hatao’ and development of residual state. Here are a few quotes of the leaders:

Telangana people are the worst sufferers on account of feudal rule. It was the TDP which had put a check on it by abolishing the Patel Patwari system. This is a fight between Telugu self-pride and Delhi arrogance. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has been helping Delhi to divide the State on one hand and making tall claims of seeking justice in the division of the state on the other.
