I have credibility, Naidu does not: Jagan

Rajahmundry: “The only thing I possess and Chandrababu Naidu does not is credibility. Babu even forgot the meaning of credibility,” YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy asserted here on Saturday. Addressing a large gathering in Peddapuram, as part of the YSRCP election campaign, he observed that it was not a big task to cheat the common man for the TDP president, who backstabbed his father-in law for the sake of power.

Jagan faulted Naidu for using the photo of NTR during elections. He named Chalamsetty Sunil as the party candidate for the Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency and Thota Subba Rao Naidu for Peddapuram Assembly seat. Jagan hit out at Naidu for neglecting agriculture during his ‘dark’ rule. Recalling the TDP chief’s comment on the late YSR’s demand for free power to farmers, when he was the Opposition leader, he said farming was ‘ruined’ during the TDP rule. He said YSR had indentified the core people’s problems during his 1,600-km-long walkathon and introduced Aarogyasri for people, who could not afford corporate treatment, and fee reimbursement for poor students. The YSRCP chief assured that he would make efforts to make sure that every educated youth got employment. He foresaw a rosy future for Seemandhra and stressed the need for big cities, major ports, industries, airports and universities in the region.
