Kiran takes Cong to task

Guntur: Jai Samaikyandhra Party founder N Kiran Kumar Reddy undertook his first election campaign in the district on Friday, taking the Congress to task for the State’s division. He blamed the TDP and YSRCP for the bifurcation. Reddy told the gathering that he had been touring the State for Samaikyandhra, even giving up the post. He decried the attempts to divide Telugu people. During his road show in Tenali, the former CM hit out at the parties which were responsible for the State’s division, accusing them of approaching voters with promises of developing Seemandhra. The road show began at Saibaba Temple Bridge and continued up to Lakshmi talkies. Amalapuram MP G V Harsha Kumar spoke. Taking the mike later, Kiran Reddy called upon people to revolt for Samaikyandhra. He maintained that links with Hyderabad with regard to education and jobs would continue. Later his road show moved to Ponnur and Bapatla. He was accompanied by MP Vundavalli Arunkumar and Harsha kumar. Kiran left for a tour of Prakasam district.
