JSP candidate attacked

Hyderabad: Jai Samaikyandhra Party candidate for Khammam Lok Sabha seat, Cherukuri Nagarjuna Rao, was allegedly attacked by TRS activists. Though he pleaded with them to spare him with folded hands the pro-T activists went on rampage. He reportedly instigated them with his remarks in Madhira in Khammam, while en route to filing his nomination papers, a police official said. "The TRS activists threw stones on Rao's car, breaking its wind-screen and causing minor injuries to Rao. He later filed his nomination papers," she said.
