Naidu’s possessions include car & house worth `10 cr

The lone vehicle that Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu owns is an Ambassador car (AP09 G 0393) costing Rs 2,22,500 bought in 1994 while his wife N Bhuvaneswari is in possession of an Audi car worth Rs 91,92,946 purchased in 2008. The liabilities of the couple include Rs 41,45,00o borrowed as hand loan by Bhuvaneswari from her daughter-in-law N Brahmani. Bhuvaneswari availed hand loans to the tune of Rs 14,57,419 also from ‘others’. This is in addition to the overdraft of Rs 15,12,70,190 she had availed from the Bank of Baroda. Naidu owed Rs 6,35,387 to New Indus Tours and Travels towards travelling expenses. As per the affidavit submitted by him while filing nomination for the Kuppam Assembly constituency, the gross total value of the assets owned by Mr Naidu was only Rs 47,95,239 while the net value of assets owned by his wife was put at Rs 134,32,16,489. Jewellery in possession of Bhuvaneswari includes 2,892 gm of gold, 33 kg silver and 445 carats of precious and semi-precious stones. The total current market value of Naidu’s residential building (House/plot No. 1310, Road No. 65, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad) (1,225 sq. yards) with a built-up area of 5,876 sq. ft was put at Rs 10,14, 65,280. The plot was bought in 1985 at a cost of Rs 1,76,000 and an investment of Rs 21,44,218 was made on it by way of development and construction.
