Pedana(Krishna): Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu asserted here on Friday that the Congress had no right to seek votes, as it failed to protect the interests of people. Addressing a TDP campaign meeting, he blamed the Congress for increasing the prices of petrol, LPG, while the State Government raised the property tax, besides water and electricity charges. He said the Congress, which failed on all spheres, had no right to stay in power. Naidu appealed to people to teach a fitting lesson to the Congress in the elections. He asked them to vote against ‘corrupt’ candidates who were in fray in the State on the YSRCP ticket. The TDP president took a dig at YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for unleashing anti-TD campaign through the ‘Sakshi’ media. He alleged that Jagan had established print and electronic media with the money earned through corrupt means.

He was not afraid of such malicious campaign and had the satisfaction of waging a battle against corruption.
