Honeybees attack Errabelli

Palakurthy/Warangal: Telugu Desam Party nominee for Palakurthy Assembly seat and sitting MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao became a victim of honeybees’ anger on Monday.

Honeybees attacked him while campaigning at Ragannagudem of Rayaparthy mandal. He was the only person bitten by honeybees and his face was swollen around the right eye. Following the incident, Dayakar Rao took a two-hour break from the campaigning schedule and rested at a party workers’ residence.

He later resumed the campaigning and toured the villages. It might be noted here that he was bitten by honeybees during the previous general elections while campaigning in a village in the constituency and it seems to be a ‘winning sentiment’ for him.

In Hanamkonda, the Congress nominee for Warangal (West), Errabelli Swarna, suffered sunstroke and collapsed while canvassing on Sunday night. She was admitted to a private hospital. She was discharged from the hospital on Monday and resumed campaigning.

Similarly, TRS nominee for Warangal (West), Dasyam Vinay Bhakser, also suffered sunstroke and was forced to halt the electioneering for some time following the doctors’ advice. He resumed campaigning in the evening.
