Linga Reddy, Varadarajulu sink differences

Proddatur (Kadapa): Differences among the district Telugu Desam Party leaders which led to Proddatur sitting member Linga Reddy not being re-nominated and a former Congress MLA Varadarajulu Reddy getting the ticket were overcome on Thursday, after the two leaders shared breakfast at the instance of TDP Kadapa Lok Sabha candidate N Srinivasulu Reddy. Varadarajulu Reddy called on Linga Reddy and exchanged pleasantries.

Later, the three leaders took up a joint campaign. The leaders told the media that if the party was voted to power they would strive to secure special status to the town. Former councilor from 36th ward and YSRCP leader Ameer Basha joined TDP. He was invited into the party by Srinivasulu Reddy.
