Balakrishna to adopt Anantapur

Anantapur: Telugu film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Sunday pledged to adopt Anantapur district and solve its drinking water problem. Addressing a road show at Raptadu in support of TDP Assembly candidate Paritala Sunita, along with her son Sriram, he promised to provide drinking water from the Srisailam reservoir. Party activists and fans were present in large numbers. Balayya alleged that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy had set up the party using ‘looted’ money and that his ‘vision was corruption’. He claimed that only scandals marked the Congress party administration. Later, Balakrishna held a road show at Garladinne. Party candidates JC Diwakar Reddy and Yaminibala were present.
