Don’t grieve over loss of Hyderabad: Chiru

Mangalagiri (Guntur): Union Minister and Congress Campaign Committee chairman K Chiranjeevi advised Seemandhra people not to grieve over the loss of Hyderabad following the State’s bifurcation, as a much better capital could be built here. Addressing a public meeting at Anjaneya Swamy Midde Centre after holding a road show from Prakasam Barrage, he said the Congress alone could not be blamed for the State’s division, because BJP had brought about it. Chiru alleged that the minorities would not be safe under Narendra Modi. Local Congress MLA Kamala was conspicuous by her absence. Congress leadership was unhappy with the poor turnout at the meeting.
