Naidu blasts KCR, calls him ‘vasool raja’

Mahabubabad (Warangal): TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu appealed to people to think twice before voting. Addressing meetings in Warangal, Medak and Khammam on Monday, he urged voters to opt for a good leader who could address their problems. While speaking at Nehru Centre here, he alleged that nominees fielded by TRS, Congress and YSRCP were ‘corrupt’.

Naidu conducted a road-show from Thorrur Road. He tore into TRS president KCR for abusing leaders of other parties and lacking stability. After elections he would merge TRS with the Congress, Naidu claimed.

He arrived here by helicopter from Yellandu. Election officials objected to the road-show stating that campaigning should stop by 4 pm. Party leaders, after speaking with the State election officials, clarified that 4 pm deadline was set for Mulug and Bhupalapalli segments only. Naidu was allowed to go ahead with the event. He held a meeting with party workers at Maripada.

Earlier, addressing a public meeting at Gajwel, Naidu claimed credit for developing Hyderabad. He alleged that the Congress government stopped the ‘Deepam’ scheme introduced by TDP. Calling upon people to end feudalistic rule in Telangana, he warned that KCR would be sent to a mental asylum if he persisted with ‘abuse’ of parties. He said Gajwel was not KCR’s ‘jaagir’. Naidu said Only TDP-BJP combine had the capability to realise the Pranahita-Chevella project.
