Hyderabad: On Wednesday, the EVMs at polling stations bearing numbers 184 and 185 at Vinukonda in Guntur district failed to function properly. Also, the polling staff designated for polling station 183(a) arrived lately, due to which the polling began 20 mts late to that of scheduled 7 a.m. time. Nevertheless, the voters were in the queue since 7 a.m.

At Magallu village in the jurisdiction of Jaggayyapet constituency in Krishna district, the EVMs placed in polling stations bearing numbers 165 and 166 became dysfunctional causing hindrance to the voting. There is a long queue present in front of the polling station due to this. Few others went back due to the burning sunlight. The process of repairing EVMs is on.
