Seemandhra polls bring another Sankranthi in Hyderabad

Hyderabad is known for its busy traffic and congested roads. But, it has been a usual practice that the roads become virtually wide and free during the Sankranthi season, every year. This year, such an occurrence happened once again in Hyderabad. Wondering why? It is due to the Wednesday elections in Seemandhra districts. Most of the employees and their families who originally hail from the 13 districts of Seemandhra were on their way back to their respective places to cast their votes. Also, summer vacations to the kids brought an added advantage to the situation making most to the Seemandhra natives to rush to their native places.

For obvious reasons, the roads turned virtually wide and free. In this summer, at least for a few days, the roads became wide and free making the passersby the road feel a sigh of relief. From the other end, speculations making rounds that once the new capital city of Seemandhra would be ready, the situation will be customary on a permanent account. There are also the contradicting statements that are making rounds – that - once someone comes to Hyderabad for any reason; they don’t feel like to leave the place for sundry reasons.
