Rayapati drives auto, tells MPs to resign

Guntur: Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, who recently resigned in favour of Samaikyandhra, on Sunday called upon all MPs from the region to resign to keep the State united. Rayapati was the first MP to resign after the Congress’ Telangana decision was made public 19 days ago. He urged MPs to think beyond the interests of the parties concerned and contribute for the unity of the Telugus. He took part in an auto rally here. He occupied the driver’s seat and drove the three-wheeler for some distance energising the Samaikyandhra agitators.
