Every year, Vignana Samithi conducts the Aradhana as is being done in Thiruvayyuru, the religious abode of the trinity. The rendering of Thyagaraja Ghanaraga Pancharathna Kruthis, ‘Gosti Gaanam’ (collective singing) on Pushya Bahula Panchami in Anand Nagar was reminiscent of that in Thiruvayyuru.

The Pancharathna Gaanam had veteran musicians like Sarva Sri. Ayyagari Syama Sundar, D Raghavac hari, T Lokanadha Sarma, PV Subba Rao, Wizers. Balasubrahmanyam, DV Mohana Krishna, O Ananda Mohan, Lalitha Haripriya, Y Rama Prabha, S Uma Devi, Seshu Latha, Ayyagari Jaya Lakshmi, Duddu Radhika, Girija Seshamamba, Kaivalya Kumar, Suri Venkateswarlu, Maheedhara Seeth arama Sarma, Chandra Sekhar, BS Narayanan and many promising you ng musicians participated. Nemani Somayajulu, Jaya Bhaskar, A Srinivas, Omprakash accompanied on Mrudangam and on violin was Kokkanda Subrahmanyam and Oruganti Raja Sekhar, B Janardhan was on ghatam along with many others who gave instrumental support. The gathering consisted of around 300 musicians.
It is the right occasion to know the inner feelings (Bhaavam) of Sri Thyagaraja written in all the five Pancharathna Keerthanas. He says to Rama that ‘You’ are the shelter of all. Yes, I am arrogant, please pardon me, refine me, teach me, show the right path and protect me. In a nutshell, Thyagaraja attributed joy and sorrow and helplessness and finally prostrated before God for his benevolent bliss in the kruthis 1) Jagadaananda Kaaraka (Naata), 2) Dudukugala (Gowla), 3) Sadhinchene Manasa (Aarabhi), 4) Kanakana Ruchiraa (Varali) and 5) Endaro Mahaanubhavulu (Sri).
On the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the organisation M Adithya Prasad, Deputy Director General (IBS) felicitated eminent flute musician Dr. Prapancham Sitha Ram and presented a Sanmana Pathram. Earlier, vedic pandit . Kowtha. Lalitha Manohar falicitated vedic scholars with a shawl on behalf of the organisation.

Eemani Lalitha Krishna is a famous musician who has created a name for herself across India. She is the first female artiste of our state to have all India recognition for her versatility in three instruments, Gotu, Veena and Mandolin. She is ‘A’ Grade artist in All India Radio and Doordarshan.
She commenced her gotu recital with Raghunayaka (Hansadhwani) with relative speed while fine-tuning of the strings. Then, she moved on to Bhuvini Daasudani (Sri Ranjani), Bantureethi Koluveeyavayya Rama (Hansanaadam) where she displayed her technique. Lalitha Krishna selected the main item of the evening Etula Brothuvo (Chakravaakam), which she dealt with elaborate raagalapana and swarakalpana and gave sumptuous treat to the music-lovers. Kokkanda. Subrahmanya Sarma (Violin) and PV Ramana Murthy (Mrudangam) extended excellent instrumental support. Later in the evening, Dr Tadepalli Lokanadha Sarma’s vocal recital, the concluding programme of the day proved to be a masterly presentation.
