City Girl Finalist in Femina Miss India Contest. Irshika Mehrotra is the only girl who has made it to the finals from Hyderabad for the fbb Femina Miss India 2014.

Irshika Mehrotra is the only girl who has made it to the finals from Hyderabad for the fbb Femina Miss India 2014. 25 lucky girls were chosen as finalists on March 1 at Mumbai. A smart vivacious girl whose father is an Army officer, Irshika is endowed with skills of a painter, dancer, traveller and orator. She will be competing with a very vibrant batch of entrepreneurs, engineers, architects, lawyers as contestants from across the country.
Having completed her schooling from Army School, RK Puram, Irshika has beaten many students in academics to bag the top position throughout school. She topped in Commerce stream in class XII in her school and has been widely acknowledged as multi-faceted.
Thereafter she went to Delhi to do her Bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons) from IP College, Delhi University. Today she is on the brink of branching out into the cut-throat zone of corporates completing her Masters in Financial Economics from Madras School of Economics, Chennai.
Irshika Mehrotra, talking to Hyderabad Hans, said, “My dream journey began with the RSI Beauty Pageant held in 2009 where I was crowned the May Queen. Since then my family members supported and encouraged me in a big way.”
Currently she is attending the grooming sessions and photo shoots in Mumbai. The highly competitive mega contest is being held at Yashraj Studios, Mumbai, on April 5.
Exuding confidence everywhere, be it a scintillating ramp walk, talent shows, speaking her mind to the media or introducing herself, she is coming out in bright colours with much aplomb.
Almost a month-long campaign from March 6 to April 4 has started during which contestants will be gauged on levels of online interaction and popularity. The contestant winning maximum likes and shares will win the ‘Miss Multimedia’ title and will be one among top 10 contestants.
