Ramzan shopping spree

Ramzan is around the corner and local traders in Hyderabad are all set with new trendy and fashionable stuffs. It is the time of the year when retail patterns change, new sellers and products enter the market, and shoppers buy more than in any month of the year. With amazing offers and the newest trends, who can refuse going shopping? The traditional fashionable clothes,glossy footwear,bright sequined accessories, new frangrances, traditional caps are things to die for this Ramzan. Different varieties of clothes from Pakistan, Middle East have been brought to jazz up city’s shopping spree.

Designer Kaftans, two layer Abhaya dress, Anarkhali suits are the highlights this Ramzan. Pakistani pants are also very much in trend now. Traditional dresses like The Farshi Pajama is also seen in shops near Charminar. It is a traditional Pakistani dress which consists of kurta, dupatta and pajama which is a flowing two legged skirt held by drawstrings. “This Ramzan I will go for long salwar frocks and shirt shalwar. For jewellery I will go to Lad Bazaar near charminar to bring in the extra flavor of my outfit,” says Wajeeha Fathima an active Ramzan shopper. For the guys, the Kharakuli caps and traditional attires such as kurta-pajama and the sadri, in solid colours are a big hit.

Apart from the Old City shopping, there are Ramzan shopping festivals happening across the city. One such shopping festival organised by RSF events which would start from July 1. There is no entry and parking fee for this event which showcases clothes, jewelry, latest electronics, gadgets and many more branded items in a single roof. This event would be held at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.
