Longest safety drive to encourage riders to drive responsibly

Every motorcycle rider in the world needs to understand and promote the idea of incorporating safety in riding. This is the motive behind Bike Festival of India's (BFI's) 'National Safety Ride' initiative, which inspires city youth and biking communities to ride responsibly and wear helmets.

The 8,170 km 'National Safety Ride' was flagged off by cricketer Ishant Sharma in New Delhi on August 31. It has already covered cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vapi, Mumbai Pune, Kolhapur, Chitradurga, Bengaluru, Ooty, Kochi, Salem, Vellore and Chennai.

Riders stopped in these cities to visit iconic locations, while interacting with biker communities and encouraged safe driving by wearing helmets. Following this, the ride will continue through Ongole, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Behrampur and Bhadrak, before reaching Kolkata for the final leg.

From Kolkata, riders will move towards Dhanbad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Noida, Chandigarh and then culminate at New Delhi. Covering a mammoth distance of 8170 km, this will certainly be the longest safety drive in India. Triumph Motorcycle is the official bike partner of National Safety Ride.
