Food for Change
Project 511, a non-governmental organisation, committed to improving the quality of education imparted in government schools, unveiled a black-tie annual charity dinner ‘Food For Change’ (FFC) at Marriott.
A unique black-tie charity dinner is being organised by Project 511, an NGO which works closely with the government to mobilise and disburse funds to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged children
Project 511, a non-governmental organisation, committed to improving the quality of education imparted in government schools, unveiled a black-tie annual charity dinner ‘Food For Change’ (FFC) at Marriott. The dinner, which is a part of Daan Utsav (earlier known as Joy of Giving Week), would be conducted on October 5 at JRC Convention and is expected to be attended by dignitaries from the city including former badminton player P Gopichand, former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who are the brand ambassadors of the charity initiative.

Hyderabad Round Table No 8 supports the NGO and all proceeds from the charity dinner will go towards Project 511.
Director-producer Suresh Babu, COO of Naandi Foundation Anoop Ratnaker Rao and chairman of Hyderabad Round Table 8 Sujeet Govindaraju shared details about FFC and the vision and mission of Project 511.
FFC was a tremendous success last year with over 1,000 guests from Hyderabad's elite enjoying a unique experience. This year Hyderabad’s top star hotels such as Novotel Hyderabad Convention Center, ITC Grand Kakatiya, Marriott, Avasa and Radisson Hitec will provide the culinary delight. Sri Chaitanya, Cyient, Lakamsani Group, MYK Laticrete and Penna Cements will sponsor the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Anoop Rao said, “I am proud to say that Project 511 works with 1,022 schools and has impacted the lives of more than 5 lakh children since it began. We continue to grow from strength to strength with each passing year.”
Neil Paterson, general manager, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and HICC, said, “The ‘Food For Change’ event would provide a platform to raise funds for enhancing the quality of education in government schools.
Hyderabad would witness a grand display of culinary love, under the theme of donation and charity.”
