Pinks n Bloos spreads its wings

Seetha Devi is a philanthropist and a renowned television filmmaker. She is also the director of Pinks n Bloos Beauty Saloons Pvt Ltd which is operating in six units across four states in India. Four more saloons will be coming up in the near future. To commemorate her success, Seetha hosted a success meet at MP Mall, Jubilee Hills.

The Indian cosmetic and beauty market which stands at Rs 5,831 crore and is growing at 15-20 per cent per annum is twice as fast as that of US and European markets. Today India comprises 25 per cent organised salon market, which will increase to 30 per cent by 2015. The research also identifies that 61 per cent men and 54 per cent women are visiting salons on a monthly basis and 60 per cent of them are spending between Rs 1,000 and 2,000 on beauty services. Having foreseen the changes in the salon industry and untapped business opportunity, Pinks n Bloos, with an intention to offering quality salon services, has started working towards spreading its branches across all district headquarters and Tier I and Tier4v II cities.
