The story behind Telangana’s first tableau resembles that of a Bollywood potboiler. The Central government gave a green-light to the tableau, which will be displayed at the Republic Day parade, amidst huge drama. According to a statement given by Ramana Reddy, the artist who conceived the design, the work on the TS tableau began on January 11, by which time the other states had already completed more than 60 per cent work on their models. However Ramana Reddy expressed confidence that the tableau would be up and running soon as the works have been going on at a frenetic pace.
