Hyderabad: A fire near the Courtyard of KBR Park, on the opposite side of the Journalist Colony in Jubilee Hills, put the early morning walkers on their toes.
A heap of dead leaves and accumulated garbage waste caught fire inside the Courtyard at 5 pm on Sunday.
The park staff sprung into action and informed the fire services. The flames emanating from the place was about 10 feet high and completely burned down the nearby trees.
Traffic during the morning hours was affected after fire tenders arrived at the scene.
According to the locals, the GHMC workers regularly dump garbage near the spot.
