Rediscover Gandhi for sustainable growth.“Gandhian philosophy teaches us how to live and how not to live in the society. It advocates simple living and high thinking. Non-violence is a must for the progress of society in the civilized world.

Narsapur: “Gandhian philosophy teaches us how to live and how not to live in the society. It advocates simple living and high thinking. Non-violence is a must for the progress of society in the civilized world. We Indians are not giving due respect to the Father of Nation, while the entire world is admiring him. Implementation of Gandhian ideals is the greatest tribute we can pay the Father of Nation. It is time to rediscover Gandhi by following his principles for the sustainable development of the nation,” said Ponnapalli Sri Rama Rao, retired principal of MVNJS and RVR College, Malkipuram, who delivered a guest lecture on ‘Relevance of Gandhian Principles to the Present’ as a chief guest. The lecture was held for the students of Gandhi Certificate Course of Dr CSR PG Centre, Sri YN College, on Tuesday under the aegis of Gandhian Studies Centre.

Gandhian ideals are more relevant now to uphold peace and communal harmony in the present day society.”
