“The expo was an opportunity for the global merchants, manufacturers, exporters and dealers to examine all the FCV samples. The exhibition immensely benefitted all the stakeholders including global merchants, manufacturers, exporters and dealers.

The idea was to give tobacco traders firsthand information on the quality of the tobacco produced. The traders will bid for the tobacco at the auctions,” said Tobacco Board chairman K Gopal. The auctions will be conducted at the centres at Kaligiri, Dachipalli, Podili, Devarapalli, Gopalapuram, Koyyalagudem, Jangareddigudem, Tanguturu, Ongole and Kondepi.
