The newest hooligan to hit the streets from the Japanese brigade, Kawasaki will be officially launching the Ninja H2 superbike in the country on 3rd April at the Buddh International Circuit. The meanest Kwacker (only short to the insanely fast H2R) will be priced at Rs. 33.56 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai) and the company has already started accepting bookings for an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs. However, if you thought of getting your hands on one of these this year, the H2 has already been sold out with only five units allotted for the Indian market for 2015.

A quick reminder on the tech specs that make the Kawasaki Ninja H2 so awesome, the superbike is powered by a 998cc, in-line four-cylinder supercharged motor that belts out 200 PS of power and 133 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed transmission. The bike offers an impeccable power-to-weight ratio of 0.88 BHP per kg and is capable of doing the 0-100 km/hr dash in 2.5 seconds with a kerb weight of 238 kgs. The top speed is in excess of 300 km/hr but other than the race track, that too BIC, there is no other place where this beast can employ all those wild horses.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is certainly a special piece of machinery that showcases the future of the green manufacturer in the years to come. In addition, the Ninja H2 is also heavily tech-laden and comes with a host of goodies including ABS, traction control, launch control, quick shifter and engine brake control among others to keep you sedated. Competing against the Ninja H2 will be the esteemed members of the 200+ HP club comprising of the BMW S1000RR, Ducati Panigale 1299, the new generation Yamaha R1 and the likes.
