2015 Hyundai Elantra facelift launched, priced from 14 lakh

The 2015 Hyundai Elantra facelift looks better than ever with some mild tweaks and also gets an extensively updated feature list, even though the power train options remain the same. Hyundai India has launched the updated Elantra here with a price range of Rs 14.13 lakh - Rs 17.94 on Monday. The 2015 model has received some additional features and design updates, though no mechanical changes have been made to the saloon.

Talking about the exterior design, the premium sedan gets a newly-designed front bumper, chrome grille, projector head-lamps with LED light guide, and revised fog-lamps. The side profile of the car gets newly-designed 10-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, and moulding on its belt line.

The rear profile too looks refreshed with the new two-tone bumper and chrome tipped exhaust in addition to the new LED effect rear combination lamps.The company has made some revisions inside too; the car now gets all-black interiors, leather seats, metallic scuff plates, aluminium pedal and ergonomically positioned console box with arm rest, and rear AC vents.

As we mentioned above, the vehicle will continue to house the same engine options under the hood - 1.8 Dual VTVT Petrol and 1.6 VGT CRDi Diesel - that also powered the old model.
