The blazing heat of the summer is encouraging people to consume watermelons, fruit juices and buy earthen pots to get some respite from the unbearable heat. The town is red with scorching sun from as early as 10 am. Men and women equipped with cooling glasses, umbrellas and scarfs tied over their heads, are trying to beat the heat.

The unbearable heat is resulting in dehydration of the body and people are clamouring for throat cooling water melons and cool juices. The people also dread the thought that this hellish climate will have to be borne for another 50 to 60 days.
