The last few weeks have been very exciting for Bajaj Auto as we finally witnessed the launch of the highly awaited new generation Pulsars including the RS (Race Sport) 200, 200 AS (Adventure Sport) and 150 AS in the market. Now the automaker has sent us an invite for 28th April and will showcase the “new age Pulsars” (more than one model) and we suspect the company to finally unveil the Pulsar 150 NS (Naked Sport) ahead of its official launch in May that is all set to take on the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ V2.0 and the likes.

Bajaj is scheduled to launch the Pulsar 150 NS in May this year and the model is most likely to be part of the showcase on 28th April. The 150 NS shares its design with the 200 NS while power comes from an updated 149.5cc engine producing 17 PS and 13 Nm of torque. The invite though says that new age Pulsars will be showcased and there is fat chance that the Pune-based automaker is feeling generous and will also showcase the highly awaited Pulsar RS 400 and 400 CS at the event (the 400 AS could also be showcased). Bajaj has taken quantum leaps this year with the RS 200 and the company could showcase some new details on its new flagship offerings.

The invite further states that Bajaj Auto will be discussing the company’s future plans for the segment at the upcoming event and we expect the automaker to give a timeline on the launch of the 400 Pulsar models. Who knows, Bajaj could also announce a Pulsar 250 with the new engine that powers KTM’s RC/Duke 250. The company commands a market share of 43 percent across the Pulsar engine capacities and is surely looking to grow on the same aggressively. Make sure you come back on 28th April as we get you all the details live from the event.
