Laxmi Srija Laxmi is a student of VVC School in Khammam. She not only tops in studies but has excelled in various programmes by exhibiting her talent. This class two student is brilliant in Abacus, good in chess and aspires to become an IAS officer when she grows up. No wonder that from the tender age of three, she has managed to bag several awards and win various competitions, much to the pride of her family and school.

This little master smiles, “I want to become an IAS officer, and I know how to prepare for the examination and wish to work as a collector for Khammam district.” Velpula Sudha Rani, mother of this young prodigy who teaches computer science tells, “Having an extraordinary remembrance power, Laxmi Srija can store every bit of information once heard or seen and can tell spontaneously the details in depth with authenticity once asked.


We have a file of 37 chapters which deals with information on numerous topics from many fields. Pick any point from these chapters, she instantly can provide you with all the details.” “Her expertise however lies in the history of Telangana. Her fantastic account of the struggle, about how and when the Telangana Bill was passed in the parliament and the mission and vision of this movement is impeccable,” beams Sudha.

And this reservoir that she swears by is updated every day,” adds Laxmi’s mother. “We came to Hyderabad to attend the recent TRS meeting held at Parade Ground. I wanted to exhibit the talent of my daughter before KCR. Unfortunately we could not meet him. Hence I appeal to KCR to witness the talent of the kid whenever time permits”, concluded Sudha.
