Bowled out
It was a memorable experience for Sunrisers Hyderabad fans, when they got an opportunity to bowl out their cricket heroes at Kingfisher Bowl Out held at DLF IT Park on Thursday. 25 lucky fans bowled at their favorite players from Sunrisers Hyderabad– Kane Williamson, Ravi Bopara, Karan Sharma, Hanuma Vihari and KL Rahul.
It was a memorable experience for Sunrisers Hyderabad fans, when they got an opportunity to bowl out their cricket heroes at Kingfisher Bowl Out held at DLF IT Park on Thursday. 25 lucky fans bowled at their favorite players from Sunrisers Hyderabad– Kane Williamson, Ravi Bopara, Karan Sharma, Hanuma Vihari and KL Rahul.
Fans witnessed their cricketing icons in action, as they brought forward their best bowling skills in an attempt to get them out. This year’s edition of Bowl Out witnessed a large turnout especially from the city’s tech crowd, as the event moved away from the busy city center, giving young corporates a chance to meet their favorite cricketers.
Participants were selected through an on-ground contest at the venue. Contestants were given three chances to get the cricketers bowled out and cash prizes ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 were awarded depending on which delivery they got the cricketer out. A thrilled cricket fan exclaimed, “Getting to see my cricketing idols and bowling to them was an experience I could have never imagined.”
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Kane Williamson literally stood tall as he gracefully displayed an array of drives from his armor. Commenting on the occasion, he exclaimed, “It feels great to meet our fans in person. Amidst the entire serious cricket being played, it was indeed a delightful opportunity to meet and spend some quality time with our supporters.”
