CR Sasikumar, deputy managing director, State Bank of India, has handed over a cheque of Rs 5 crore for the construction of a school in Bolaram. This is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. Talking about its previous CSR activities, Sasikumar said during the financial year 2014-2015, the bank donated medical equipments, ambulances, school buses, water purifiers and computers to government schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh worth Rs 5.18 crore.
