He asked the community to identify themselves as a nation and not a race, “The community was devoid of a homeland for over 2000 years, and were in the brink of extinction,” he said. “The emerging of Israel as a powerful nuclear nation and the historic wars won against the Arab states when attacked by the latter was a political miracle,” he added.
