The State is ready for some fun with the Prakasam district administration making elaborate arrangements for the Beach Festival, scheduled to be held at Kottapatnam beach on July 11 and 12.

The additional joint collector I Prakash Kumar has ordered the officials to set up tourism, handloom, flowers and fruits, handicrafts, DWCRA products exhibitions besides cattle and dog show at the festival. The officials were asked to organise several games as part of the festival at Kottapatnam beach.

Beach Kabaddi, volleyball, musical chairs, kites flying competition, tug of war, horse riding and other events are scheduled for July 11. Apart from the games, the administration is planning to arrange cultural programmess by eminent personalities in the district.
