Addressing a conference on Monday, Cherukuri Volga Archery Academy president Cherukuri Satyanarayana announced that Shivani along with Poranki Sushanth, Ch Bilvesh Datta, D Virat Sai, D Varnith Sai and T Nischan would participate in the mixed archery, a record breaking event, to hit 10 meters target in the presence of India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records representatives.

At present Shivani is being trained under the guidance of coach L Chandra Sekhar, with an aim to make her compete in the sub-junior category of archery championship by the time she attains the age of nine.

“Various events would be conducted on June 24 with the 40 boys and girls of the academy to hit 360 arrows from 15 meters target in 60 minutes period using compound, recurve and Indian bows for the feat,” Satyanarayana added.
