Bowlers to strike to glory. The AP Ten Pin Bowling Association and Splitz Bowling Alley are organising the ‘King of Pins’ Open Bowling Tounamernt from June 29th to July2nd.
The AP Ten Pin Bowling Association and Splitz Bowling Alley are organising the ‘King of Pins’ Open Bowling Tounamernt from June 29th to July2nd. Addressing a conference on Wednesday, Indian Bowling Team captain and gold medalist of common wealth games Hameed, revealed that entry for participation is open for participants from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

About 100 players are expected to participate in the tournament, which will have Rs 31,000 worth prizes and specialised bowling pin trophies including Rs 20,000 worth prizes for winner, Rs 10,000 worth prizes for first runner up and Rs 1000 worth prizes for second runner up. Qualifying rounds for the championship will be held on June 29 and 30, quarter finals and semi-finals on July 1 and finals and Trophy presentation on July 2.
Hameed congratulated the organisers for encouraging bowling in the State. He also said that he will extend support to AP Bowling Association to take game to next level. AP Bowling Association members Kavya Perla, Usha and Gara Srinivas were among those present.
