City students fare well in IIT JEE

Students of FIITJEE Vijayawada centre fared well in the IIT JEE Advanced-2015. Addressing a press conference on Thursday after the declaration of IIT JEE Advanced results, FIITJEE centre head Ramesh Babu Pinnepu said it achieved 40 per cent success rate in the Joint Entrance Examination against the all India average of 8 per cent.

In the open category, 16 out of the total 41 students got ranks. “FIITJEE Vijayawada centre had gained prominence post bifurcation. It launched ‘Fortunate 40’ to provide world-class training to meritorious students hailing from economically backward sections for JEE. A total of 2,963 students of FIITJEE achieved success in the Joint Entrance Examination,” he said.
