Differently-abled on a padayatra to Tirupati

Chukkala Charitable Trust of Gowthamnagar in Malkajgiri has embarked on a padayatra to Tirupati. The yatra was inaugurated by Malkajgiri MLA C Kanaka Reddy on Wednesday. Chukkala Venukumar, chairman of the trust, said, “I am accompanying 150 differently-abled and poor people to seek darshan of Lord Balaji. This is my 150th yatra to Tirupati and I want to make 1,008 trips to Tirumala in my lifetime.”
