3-day badminton tourney underway

The Ramineni Venkateswar Rao Memorial Krishna District Badminton Championships 2015 was inaugurated by MLA Gadde Ramamohan at DRMC Indoor Stadium on Friday. Over 300 participants are taking part in the under-13, under-15, under-17 and under-19 men and women categories across three days of the championship.

The best players will be selected for Krishna district team to participate in the AP State Badminton Championships coming up in the next few weeks. On the occasion, Ramamohan promised to spruce up air conditioning at the stadium.
