Sixty trainees of the 13th batch of constable/driver cum pump operator (DCPO) basic course and three trainees of the 26th batch of constable/fire basic course passed out in the ceremonial parade held at the Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI) on Friday. Candidates have been trained in indoor subjects and received training on handling of weapons, drill movements and physical activity.

Sixty trainees of the 13th batch of constable/driver cum pump operator (DCPO) basic course and three trainees of the 26th batch of constable/fire basic course passed out in the ceremonial parade held at the Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI) on Friday. Candidates have been trained in indoor subjects and received training on handling of weapons, drill movements and physical activity.


Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar, Inspector General of CISF training sector, complimented the institute, staff and trainees for the parade. He recounted the glorious past of CISF and highlighted the stellar role played by CISF Fire Wing in the growth and development of the country.

He exhorted the trainees to uphold the legacy of CISF and the Constitution, and to perform their duties with sincerity, devotion and integrity. The best trainees received trophies in indoor and outdoor activities; Rajeev Kumar bagged the best all round performance award in the basic CT/DCPO course.
