The Department of ECE of Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao (PSCMR) College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with IEEE Vizag Bay Sub-section, organised a national workshop on ‘Understanding 5G perspectives on future technological advancements in wireless communication’ at its campus in One Town on Saturday.

IEEE Vizag Bay Sub-section chairman, S Lakshmi Narayana underlined the need to lay emphasis on research and development in every field to achieve growth.
Kishore Annam, senior research engineer at C-DOT, Bangalore, spoke on emerging trends in digital-analog communications, data transfer and product engineering. He explained in detail the evolution of generation technology. College president Ch Mallikarjuna Rao, principal K Nageswara Rao, ECE Department head J Lakshmi Narayana and other faculty members were present.
